Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse P‑D AC is responsible for the planning and delivery of family‑centered patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborate with patient/family and other professional disciplines. Create a partnership to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery for the achievement of mutually desired patient outcomes.

Location:
Orange, California | Shift: Night – 12‑hour (United States of America)
Minimum: $73.44 | Midpoint: $75.48 | Maximum: $77.52. Rate of pay is determined by factors including knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, and position requirements.
Experience- Minimum one (1) year acute care nursing experience with six (6) months in a pediatric setting.
- Preferred:
Over one (1) year acute care nursing in a pediatric inpatient hospital.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) (effective on all offers made after November 1, 2015).
- Required:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS);
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). - Preferred:
Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).
- Knowledge of and ability to provide appropriate family‑centered patient care based upon age appropriateness and cultural and spiritual needs.
- Excellent customer satisfaction skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete duties in a timely and organized manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively and in a positive manner with others.
- Ability to prepare timely and accurate documentation and reports.

Physical Requirements
Functional Demand:
Light – Moderate energy level. Lift and carry 25‑35 lbs. Push/pull 50‑100 lbs. (e.g., empty bed, stretcher).
Physical Activity Requirements include Bending, Carry Objects, Climbing, Keyboard use/repetitive motion, Pinching/fine motor activities, Push/Pull, Reaching forward, Reaching overhead, Sitting, Squat/kneel/crawl, Standing, Talk or hear, Taste or smell, Twisting, Walking, Wrist position deviation. Lifting (Floor to waist level):

Lifting (Waist level and above):
