About the RoleWe are currently seeking a per diem (PRN) Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Missouri.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Qualifications- Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Must be IV Certified
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Per Diem (PRN) - As Needed
