Position OverviewThis role serves as a teacher/facilitator/consultant who collaborates with nursing and organizational management to implement educational goals for the company. The educator assesses the need for, plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates education and training activities to continuously improve patient care outcomes and organizational processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assesses, designs, presents, and evaluates educational programs for clinical and non‑clinical staff based on identified needs and competencies.
- Acts as a performance consultant and coordinates training resources.
- Participates actively in groups and professional associations.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (required);
Master’s degree in nursing preferred. - Three years of nursing experience (required).
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required).
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage priorities and projects.
- Time‑management skills to work with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Ability to work in stressful situations and maintain professionalism.
- Flexible work schedule including 24/7, weekend, holiday, on‑call availability.
Medium work:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently to move objects. The job requires walking, standing, and light pushing and pulling of materials. No exposure to blood or body fluids. Occupational risk for hazardous medication or waste exposure is possible.
