Laboratory Assistant Manager

Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of the need for customer satisfaction, promotes and provides patient‑focused services, and is responsive to the needs of all customers.

• Helps with complaint resolution, promotes education of self and staff, participates in CQI, promotes multidisciplinary collaboration, serves as a community and patient resource, and assesses patient satisfaction.
• Maintains a professional attitude and behavior.
• Assumes administrative, leadership, and managerial duties in the absence of the manager to ensure cost‑efficient, safe operation and compliance with Federal, State, and TJC regulations.
• Helps formulate unit‑specific procedures and job descriptions, supports professional growth and education, ensures staff competence, participates in technology selection, and serves on assigned committees.
• Supports the organization’s mission and vision, participates in internal and external projects, promotes understanding of organizational goals, and serves as a resource person for nursing and the community.
• Maintains the CQI program for staff reward and recognition, conducts ongoing assessment of services, upholds practice standards, and maintains quality controls and safety standards.

Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Health Care or Related field.

Annual influenza vaccination is required.
