Charge Nurse (LPN) Role
:
Americare Senior Living seeks a dedicated Charge Nurse (LPN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and resident care within our skilled nursing community.

• Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation as needed
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met
• Document and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect
• Ensure appropriate supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety
• Uphold Americare’s mission, vision, values, and company policies

• Licensure / Certification
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required

• Experience & Skills
  • Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical judgment skills
  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred

• Passion for resident-centered care and team collaboration

• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with resident transfers; push/pull and maneuver up to 100 lbs as needed
