Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing

Buffalo Prairie Care Center
Schedule:
Days 6am - 6pm, Nights 6pm - 6amAbout the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing and long-term care team. You’ll play a vital role in providing quality clinical care, supporting resident independence, and enhancing overall well-being. This position offers a supportive work environment, professional growth opportunities, and a generous $11,250 Sign-On Bonus as a thank-you for joining our exceptional care team.
Key Responsibilities Deliver hands-on nursing care and manage clinical needs of residents in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders.
Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members to ensure high-quality resident care.
Document all resident interactions and clinical observations in the electronic health record (EHR).Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and safety initiatives.
Maintain a compassionate, resident-centered approach consistent with the organization’s mission and values.
Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred (new graduates welcomed with strong interest in geriatric care).Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
