Location: Republic
REPUBLIC NURSING & REHAB, located in REPUBLIC, Missouri is currently seeking a Medical Records Nurse to join our team.
Medical Records Nurse Duties and Responsibilities- Collects, assembles, checks and files residents’ charts as required
- Ensures records and charts are kept current as required
- Assists in recording all incidents/accidents in accordance to established guidelines
- Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
- Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
- Retrieves medical records when requested by authorized personnel
- Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
- Ensures that no records leave the building without the Administrators approval
- Performs other duties as assigned
- One weekend on call per month
- Must be able to work as a charge nurse as needed
- LPN Licensure: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical Record Experience
- Ability to keep accurate well‑organized records
