HHC - Licensced Practical Nurse - Nights

Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for Licensed Practical Nurses to be part of a highly effective team that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state‑operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services.

Must have knowledge of current nursing theory, practices and techniques. Skill in applying practical nursing principles in the care of persons with developmental disabilities.

Performs a variety of practical nursing duties to individuals with developmental disabilities in a team setting.

Duties include:

direct patient care, lab draws, medication administration, educating direct support staff, attending specialist appointments, and managing a caseload to include following current standard of practice and ICF policies and procedures.

• Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri.
• Lack of post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

• 6:00 am – 6:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays (1 open position)
• 6:00 pm – 6:30 am, rotating weekends and holidays (3 open positions)
