This position is located in the Skilled Nursing Facility of the Veterans Home of California – Redding. The Licensed Vocational Nurse reports to the Supervising Registered Nurse and performs the essential duties of a Licensed Vocational Nurse under the clinical direction of the Registered Nurse.

Working Conditions:

Overtime is required. Employees must follow public health guidelines and infectious disease prevention and control requirements.

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and state regulations.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and monitor resident health status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as authorized.
• Document care activities and report changes in resident condition.

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (MAND).
• Must provide a copy of license prior to hiring.
• Must pass state examination for LVN (MAND).
• Familiarity with Veterans Affairs policies and procedures is preferred.
• Ability to pass live scan and pre‑employment physical.
