Job SummaryDelivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities, coordinates care with other disciplines, and applies critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision‑making.
Job Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN):
Preferred - Acute‑care facility experience:
Preferred - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California:
Required - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:
Required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification:
Required - Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience
- SSN and Date of Birth (DOB) required
- Copy of CA RN license (expiration date)
- 2 references from the last 12 months
- Provide Return‑to‑Office (RTO) dates upon submission
- Collects relevant data pertaining to the patient’s health or situation.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
- Develops a plan prescribing interventions to attain desired outcomes.
- Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and uses strategies to promote health and safety.
- Evaluates progress toward outcomes and identifies appropriate interventions.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary providers to deliver safe, healing, humane care.
- Provides learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
- Delivers health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
- Participates in discharge planning for seamless continuity of care.
- Delegates duties and coordinates the tasks of healthcare team members.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Required qualifications include being a Registered Nurse in telemetry, a minimum of two years of experience, and possession of RN‑CA licensure, ACLS, and BLS certifications. Applicants must submit their SSN, DOB, a current CA RN license, two recent references, and RTO dates. The role requires a strong focus on patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and independent critical judgment.
