We are seeking an experienced nursing leader with proven success managing multiple projects and initiatives. This role’s oversight will include, but is not limited to, Emergency Department, Family Birth, Intensive Care, Progressive and Medical/Surgical Nursing.
Responsibilities- Direct services, workflow and resources for assigned nursing area(s).
- Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system.
- Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits and complaint management.
- Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepare and monitor budget(s) and ensure the assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field;
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing if Master’s is not in Nursing. - Three years’ registered nurse experience, with one year in direct people management/leadership.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS HSP) – American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Registered Nurse (RN) issued by Compact State.
- Work Shift:
Day Shift.
