Registered Nurse (RN) Educator – Cardiac Telemetry
Location:
Valley Park, Missouri
As an RN Educator, you will create, implement, and evaluate educational and professional development programs to optimize patient outcomes. You will collaborate with staff and other organizations to develop and present training, promote safety and quality compliance, and support lifelong learning.
Role PurposeCreates and implement staff education and professional development activities and programs that optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing educational and professional development activities for clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Collaborate with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present, and evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess educational needs of the staff and develop appropriate education plans.
- Participate in professional development and lifelong learning.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2–5 years of nursing experience
- No supervisory experience required
- RN license
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- 5–10 years of nursing experience
- Experience in Cardiology or Critical Care (telemetry)
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- RN (required)
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (preferred)
