- Airway management support, IV/IO access, and fluid/blood administration
- Hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, wound/bleeding control, equipment proficiency, trauma imaging preparation
- BLS and ACLS required
- Additional licensures to be obtained within one year: PALS, TNCC, ATC, FCCS, CEN, TCRN, CCRN or CBRN

The trauma team members (RN, data analysts, care coordinators, educators) work in a fast‑paced environment that tests professional judgment and critical thinking skills and encourages tremendous growth.
RolePurpose
Provides and coordinates patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. Serves as a resource and liaison between the physician and hospital while supporting clinical operations with safe patient care and building an effective work unit.
Responsibilities- Evaluate changes in a patient's condition, inform and collaborate with family and/or caregivers, and communicate with the interprofessional team as changes occur; update the plan of care in the EMR.
- Evaluate current nursing care to ensure evidence‑based practice and quality patient outcomes.
- Serve as a clinical preceptor/mentor for new and existing staff in the specialty area, providing clinical experience that promotes growth and competency.
- Present training sessions on new equipment and instrumentation for nursing and technical staff when needed.
- Provide feedback to management regarding staff evaluations.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement individual plans of care in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Support the clinical manager in delivering safe patient care and building an effective work unit.
- Demonstrate expertise in the clinical knowledge base for the population served and serve as a resource to others.
