Clinical Adjunct Faculty – Responsibilities
Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct faculty are required to successfully complete an online Canvas LMS orientation course before being scheduled, as well as other training if required by the department. This is a face‑to‑face course. Local applicants only.
The clinical adjunct faculty is a valued member of our Nursing Program team. Responsibilities include facilitating student learning in a variety of clinical care areas, grading of student learning assessments, collaborating with department faculty, and working with nursing unit staff and patients to assure safety and quality of our program clinical coursework.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 3 years of RN experience in the last 5 years
- Completion of the MHA clinical adjunct academy
- Unencumbered RN License in Missouri or a multistate license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification for the Health Care Provider
- Positive Employer Evaluations
Our clinical rotations vary depending on clinical placement availability with our clinical partners, and clinical day hours vary by course. Our clinical partners are located throughout the Greater Kansas City area and St. Joseph, MO.
