Location: Sunset Hills

Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Monday - Thursday 1p - 11:30p

On-Call required

Education & Credentials
  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Required Licensure: current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Required

    Certifications:

    ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is required, Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse is preferred.
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand and walk during each shift.
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
