Position: RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator - (Outpatient)- Orthopedic Surgery
Location: Chesterfield

Position Summary

Join a highly specialized orthopedic team supporting a foot and ankle surgeon in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. This RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator role offers the opportunity to work closely with patients throughout their care journey—providing education, coordinating treatment plans, and managing a busy surgical practice.

Scheduled Hours

40 hours per week, Monday–Friday. No nights or weekends. Work onsite at two clinic locations (OC and BJWC).

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients; completes health history and physical examination; conveys findings to physician.
  • Coordinates patient care orders, diagnostic tests, patient appointments, and referrals; attends inpatient rounds.
  • Assists physician and provides support with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care.
  • Performs nursing administrative duties, including compliance with environmental safety regulations, infection control standards and quality assurance.
  • Acts as liaison and team leader, facilitating communication and coordination of care between patients, families and health team members; explains routines and procedures to patients and coordinates patient care information.

  • Registered Nurse – Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
Work Experience

Nursing – 2 years.

No driver’s license required for this position.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with two years of nursing experience.
  • Current RN licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois in accordance with the Compact Act.
  • Basic Life Support Certification or obtain it within one month of employment. Online BLS certifications without a skills assessment are not sufficient.

Salary Range

$60,800.00 – $ per annum.
