To provide high-quality healthcare services, as well as physical, emotional, and preventative support to students. The Part-Time School Nurse will work collaboratively with teachers, administration, and families to promote a safe, healthy, and supportive school environment.

• Support the school’s mission and culture while adhering to school policies and health regulations
• Provide basic medical care, first aid, and emergency response for students and staff
• Manage student health records.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies).
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student health concerns and care plans.
• Assist in crisis response and ensure student health safety protocols are followed.
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment through infection prevention and health education.
• Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with students, staff, and families.

• Ability to create a safe, caring, and supportive environment for students of all ages.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  
  Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.
• Cultural sensitivity and familiarity with diverse school environments (including Islamic educational settings preferred).

• Education:
  
  Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Licensure:
  Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience:
  
  At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred (school or pediatric experience a plus)

• Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting
• Training in first aid, CPR, and AED (required or obtained upon hire)
