Position:
Full-Time Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for DAY shift; 7A-7P.
Location:
Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights. Are you a compassionate RN looking to make a difference in behavioral health? Join our 20-bed psychiatric hospital serving geriatric patients with mental health needs such as cognitive illnesses. Located next to NHC Health Care Maryland Heights, we provide care in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
The Role
As a Behavioral Health RN, you’ll assess patient needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. You’ll help ensure a safe, compliant, and healing environment for all.
Responsibilities- Deliver care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers.
- Administer and document medications accurately.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards.
- Use universal precautions and support de‑escalation protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in Missouri.
- Preferred: 1 year of nursing experience in a behavioral or geriatric setting.
- CPR/BLS required.
