Sri Sai Krish Institute is a leader in allied health education, and has been offering quality and affordable health care training programs for over 10 years. We are actively hiring RN theory and clinical instructors for our new Associate Degree Program.

Positions

Medical Surgical Theory and Clinical Instructors
Maternity Theory and Clinical Instructors
Pediatric Clinical Instructors

Qualifications

Need 1 year full time experience in OB and/or Pediatrics

Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing

Active License in the State of California

Willing to teach ADN students

All Faculty must meet the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) requirements and be approved by the BRN prior to taking the teaching assignment.

BRN Assistant Instructor Qualifications

1425(d):
Assistant instructor shall meet the following minimum qualifications: (1) A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college which shall include courses in nursing, or in a natural, behavioral or social science relevant to nursing practice.
1425(d)(2):
Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) years in the nursing area to which he or she is assigned, which can be met by: (A) One (1) year's continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area; or (B) One (1) academic year of registered nurse level clinical teaching experience in the designated nursing area or its equivalent that demonstrates clinical competency.

Section 1425(c) states:
An instructor shall meet the following minimum qualifications:
1425(c)(1): A Master or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes coursework in nursing, education, or administration. If degree other than in nursing submit information verifying coursework in nursing education.
1425(c)(2):
Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) years in the nursing area to which he or she is assigned, which can be met by: (A) One (1) year's continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area; or (B) One (1) academic year of registered nurse level clinical teaching experience in the designated nursing area or its equivalent that demonstrates clinical competency.
