Pay Range$32.50 – $48.50 per hour. Actual pay rate depends on experience.
Position Highlights- Hours:
6:00 am–6:30 pm; every 3rd weekend/holiday; 72 hours/2 weeks - Possibly eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus with a 3‑year commitment
- Student loan repayment: extra $167 monthly from Avera, up to $10,000 total
Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis, establishing objectives, defining interventions, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends. Assists residents in understanding conditions, medications, and self‑care skills, while noting changes in conditions, re‑evaluating care objectives, and adjusting plans as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the nursing care plan.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers and team members.
- Teach residents and families how to manage conditions, medications, and self‑care.
- Evaluate care by measuring outcomes against standards, reviewing records, and adjusting plans.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following infection‑control policies, medication administration procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Keep resident care equipment operating and supplies stocked.
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Direct, plan, and coordinate the workflow of nursing assistants and other nursing personnel.
- Maintain competence in nursing capabilities outlined by leadership.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license.
- Ability to work the specified hours and perform essential job functions.
- Visual acuity adequate to perform duties and effective communication skills.

- 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or long‑term care environment.
