Overview
As a Clinical Manager with Fresenius Medical Care, you will ensure quality patient care is delivered while maintaining clinical operations. You will serve as the facility leader in a collaborative team responsible for delivering unique care plans and providing dialysis treatment to patients with end‑stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
Responsibilities- Clinic Operations – Manage clinic operations, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards; lead, coach, and develop direct reports; partner with HR, Quality, and Technical Services; oversee the Home Therapies Program; maintain accurate medical and operations records; complete required coding, financials, network reporting, and regulatory surveys.
- Patient Care – Coordinate all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge; educate patients on quality measures, transplant options, and modality awareness; serve as a resource for patients and families; complete patient care assessments and care plans; manage scheduling to ensure efficiency and address missed treatments; validate patient eligibility and report status changes.
- Staff Management – Participate in hiring and onboarding; ensure staff training and licensure compliance; provide regular support and professional growth opportunities; conduct evaluations, set annual goals, and document disciplinary actions; manage staff scheduling and payroll.
- Physician Relations – Facilitate physician privilege applications; maintain strong physician relationships; work with interdisciplinary governing bodies to support policy development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN). Current appropriate state licensure.
- Minimum 6+ years of business operations experience in a healthcare facility; 12 months of clinical nursing experience; 6 months of chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience.
- Successful completion of the Ishihara Color Blind Test.
- Preferred: 3+ years of supervisory or project/program management experience; experience in med/surg, ICU, or CCU.
The role involves desk work, patient interaction, heavy lifting, patient transport, and ambulation assistance. The position may require travel between facilities and to regional meetings. The work environment is typical of a healthcare facility with controlled temperature and moderate noise levels, and exposure to infectious materials may occur. Compensation & BenefitsAnnual Rate: $85,000 – $Non‑Bonus Eligible Positions.
