Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The role involves conducting focused, in-person physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records to complete required documentation for the VA.

• Schedule: Part‑Time, 1–3 days per week (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Location: In‑person role in Lees Summit, MO
• Caseload: 3–5 Veterans per day
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation

• Conduct in‑person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal
• Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms
• Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings

  This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication; disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Practitioner should have 2,080+ supervised hours
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
• Male practitioners only to comply with VA privacy and gender‑specific protocols for certain sensitive/intimate examinations
