Are you a natural leader with a passion for high-quality resident care? As a Registered Nurse Manager, you’ll do more than supervise – you’ll guide, support, and elevate a dedicated team of nurses, ensuring every resident receives the exceptional care they deserve. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee daily clinical operations, uphold safety standards, and step in with sound judgment during critical situations.
Bring your expertise in leadership, clinical care, and critical thinking to a role where your decisions make a real difference – not just for residents, but for your entire team. In this leadership role, you won’t just manage a shift – you’ll inspire a team, support elders at their most vulnerable, and help shape the future of care in our facility.
Here is how you’ll make an impact:
Lead Shift-Based Elder Care:
Coordinate and oversee resident care across units, ensuring consistent, compassionate service and timely communication with nursing leadership.
Manage Emergencies with Confidence:
Respond calmly and professionally to critical situations, offering clinical guidance and direction during medical or behavioral crises.
Support Hands-On Care:
Step in to assist with medications, treatments, IV administration, feeding, and other direct care tasks as needed.
Monitor Mental Health Protocols:
Complete AIMS testing biannually for residents on antipsychotic medications and assess elders experiencing acute changes or injuries.
Champion Clinical Compliance:
Enforce infection control protocols and participate in routine audits, chart reviews, and care plan updates.
Collaborate with Physicians:
Join physician rounds, communicate updates with care teams, transcribe and implement orders, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Support Care Planning & Documentation:
Attend care plan meetings, assess new or declining residents, and document findings and interventions with accuracy and detail.
Act as the Voice of Leadership:
Serve as the administrative authority during your shift, addressing concerns, guiding staff, and keeping leadership informed of urgent and non-urgent matters.
Mentor & Supervise Nursing Staff:
Provide real-time coaching, participate in performance evaluations, assist with disciplinary actions, and maintain optimal staffing levels.
Take Control of Scheduling & Staffing:
Manage call-offs, fill staffing gaps, and keep the schedule updated, ensuring every unit is safely and effectively staffed.
Lead Qualify & Survey Readiness:
Support compliance through regular rounds, workflow planning, and ongoing supervision.…
