Role Overview
The Registered Nurse in the 8E Observation Unit provides personalized, goal‑directed care to patients undergoing monitoring, diagnostics, or therapy, ensuring smooth transitions between departments.
ResponsibilitiesAssess patient conditions, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, maintain accurate records, and offer education and support to patients and families. The nurse manages diverse medical cases, demonstrating leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication.
QualificationsGraduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), active RN license in Missouri, BLS certification within 90 days. Skills include strong time management, adaptability, and problem‑solving abilities.
