Job Description

Assures that high quality patient care is being performed meeting hospital standards of quality and safety. Ensures and enforces compliance of employees to hospital policies and procedures. Notifies appropriate administrative staff of any event or out-of-the ordinary occurrence that is not standard practice at the hospital. Adheres to, and require employee adherence to, the Community Hospital - Fairfax Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

Provides direct patient care; manages human and other resources to attain clinical and operational goals. Communicates effectively with physicians, employees, patients and visitors. Performs specific duties and skills as defined in the hospital’s job specific competency test. Effectively teaches and mentors other employees less experienced, knowledgeable or skillful than him/her.
