BJC Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Outpatient Infusion role at the Siteman Cancer Center, South County, Valley Park, Missouri.

• 2+ years RN experience preferred, oncology experience preferred

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

• Promote patient and family–centered care in a healing environment.
• Educate patients and families on illness, injury management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team and families.
• Proactively plan and communicate care plans across the continuum of care.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs per standards of care.
• Assess patient preferences and barriers to care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
• Maintain safety‑sensitive performance, remaining alert and operating safely at all times.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Licensure:
  Current RN credential.
• Experience:
  
  No minimum RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
