Job Description
Saint Luke's East is looking for a Nursing Student to join the Medical Specialty unit. Position:
Nurse Intern - Medical Specialty.
PRN;
Minimum 1 shift per 6‑week schedule.
The Nursing Intern will perform clinical procedures and provide patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. They will perform direct and indirect patient care activities, provide support to other health care team members, and may perform technical tasks per unit competency validation. Nursing Interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.
Qualifications- Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program.
- Completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- Expected graduation date in 2026/2027 or 2027/2028.
- Applicable experience:
Less than 1 year. - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
