Job Summary
Opportunity for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Orange, California. Work shift is Day – 12 hours. Pay range:
Minimum $56.96, Midpoint $74.05, Maximum $91.14. Salary and benefits are competitive and include an education reimbursement program (up to $10,000 per year).
- Registered Nurse licensed in California
- Ped. Advanced Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a LevelIII orIV NICU (preferably within the last 3 years)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school (must be obtained within 2years of hire)
- RNC‑NIC certification is preferred
- Functional Demand:
Light – Moderate energy level - Physical activity: lifting 25‑35lbs; push/pull 50‑100lbs; bending, reaching, walking, standing, sitting, and use of fine motor skills
- Lifting frequency:
Constant 67% or more of the time for floor‑to‑waist level;
Frequent 36‑66% for floor‑to‑waist;
Occasional 0‑35% for floor‑to‑waist;
Constant 67% or more for waist‑to‑above;
Frequent 36‑66% for waist‑to‑above;
Occasional 0‑35% for waist‑to‑above - Environmental exposures: air‑borne communicable disease, blood borne pathogens, chemicals, dust particulates, extreme noise and temperature, uneven surfaces
- Sensory requirements: color discrimination, depth perception, far and near vision, hearing
- Interaction: talk and hear, taste or smell, wrist position deviation, pinching/fine motor, push/pull, reach forward and overhead, sit/stand/kneel/crawl
