Dogwood Elementary School Nurse - 26/27
A school nurse's primary goal is to promote student health and ensure well-being by focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, management of chronic conditions and providing daily care for acute conditions. School Nurses are involved in bridging health and education in numerous ways, including disease prevention and management, health screenings and direct student care. The school nurse also connects families to resources, develops health plans and ensures policy compliance.
In all aspects, the school nurse is promoting a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.
Graduate of an accredited-licensed nurse program
Valid nursing license in the State of Missouri
Maintain record of annual continuing education
Current CPR Certification

Health Coordinator and Building Principal

Terms of Employment: 186.5 days; 8.0 hrs / day. Does not include a 30 minute lunch.
RN:
Begins at $28.11 and upon verification of relevant work experience, employees may be granted up to Step 7 credit.
LPN:
Begins $19.16 and upon verification of relevant work experience, employees may be granted up to Step 7 credit.
