Nursing Intern, Medical Float Pool

Position Overview

Saint Luke's East is looking for a Nursing Student to join the Medical Float Pool. Position:
Nurse Intern
- Medical Float Pool.

Schedule:

PRN;
Minimum 1 shift per 6 week schedule.

• The Nursing Intern performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Provides support to other health care team members.
• The Nursing Intern may perform technical tasks per unit competency validation.
• However, Nursing Interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.

• The Nursing Intern is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course and have a graduation date in 2026/2027.
• We are currently looking for nursing students whose expected graduation date is in 2027/2028.
• Applicable
  
  Experience:
  
  Less than 1 year.
• Basic Life Support
  - American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Nursing Student
  - Various.

• PRN Swing (United States of America).
