Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Telemetry RN Position

This telemetry RN position requires a highly skilled nurse to monitor and care for cardiac and stroke patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves managing cardiac drips, titrating medications, and providing specialized patient care within a telemetry unit.

• Monitor cardiac and stroke patients closely to detect arrhythmias and other critical changes.
• Titrate IV drips and manage medication infusions for cardiac stabilization.
• Document patient data accurately using Cerner charting system.
• Float within hospital units as needed, providing consistent patient care.
• Comply with infection control protocols, including PPE and scrubs.
• Pass a lethal rhythm EKG exam and maintain CEU requirements for certification compliance.

• Valid MO RN license or Compact license required at submission.
• Must have a minimum of 18 months of true telemetry experience, specifically with cardiac drips and sheaths.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, and NIHSS required; TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to pass an EKG exam with 80% or higher on orientation day.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and stroke patient care, including titrating drips and managing sheaths.
• Experience with Cerner charting system required.
