Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

$2692.80/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide comprehensive care in a 25-bed critical access hospital. The role requires versatility to float between L&D, postpartum, mother/baby care, and Med Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform labor and delivery procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Manage postpartum and mother/baby care, monitoring vital signs and fetal status.
• Float to Med Surg units to assist with patient care, offering support to staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
• Meet all shift requirements, including night rotations and weekend coverage.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with demonstrated proficiency in labor/delivery.
• Hold active licenses and required certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Ability to float across different units, including Med Surg and postpartum.
• Strong neonatal and fetal monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to work for at least half-time in Med Surg and flex to other units.
