Certified Nursing Assistant

Americare Senior Living seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to senior residents in a residential-style setting. The CNA assists with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, and daily activities while ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort. You will monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, follow care plans, and maintain accurate documentation. Working in a resident-centered, team-oriented culture, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents and families while supporting nurses and care staff in delivering high-quality, personalized senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene for senior residents
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices while following fall-prevention protocols
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and adherence to dietary guidelines
• Monitor, document, and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Take and record vital signs and other basic health measurements as directed
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate, timely documentation in records or EHR systems
• Promote dignity, respect, and comfort while engaging residents in daily routines and activities
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
• Communicate empathetically with residents and families, supporting Americare's mission and resident-centered culture
