RKM Primary Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 10 clinics in 5 parishes.
Job Overview:
Our sites qualify for the National Health Service Corps loan repayment program (individual qualifications apply)
This position delivers behavioral health services in an ambulatory heath setting, as part of a primary care team.
- Differentiate normal from normal variations signs and symptoms of mental illnesses
- Order diagnostics, monitor completion, review and interpret results, conduct follow-up
- Develop individualized problem lists and related treatment plan
- Provide appropriate pharmacological management in accordance with clinical practice guidelines
- Perform procedures in accordance with standards of practice and clinical practice guidelines
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team of PCPFHF
- Order referrals for on-site services and off-site specialist, monitor completion and outcome
Skills:
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana
- Certification from a formal recognized certifying Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program
- Experience in behavioral health setting and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, preferred
- Current Basic Life Support
Employment Type: Full Time, Monday through Friday
