Registered Nurse - Neuro Stepdown

Role Overview: Provides direct medical-surgical nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life.

• Utilizes nursing standards to evaluate and improve care quality.
• Builds effective relationships with patients, families, and team members to develop personalized care plans.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Considers physical, cultural, social, economic, spiritual, and developmental factors influencing health.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination and goal setting.
• Communicates effectively, ensuring culturally sensitive and ethical decision-making.
• Educates patients and families to promote health and comfort.
• Serves as a mentor to colleagues and fosters a positive work environment.
• Applies evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
• Performs point of care testing and other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
• Current valid RN license and BLS certification.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform clinical tasks.
• Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills.
