The Warsaw R-IXSchool District is currently accepting applications for a School Nurse . The ideal candidatewouldhold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university with a current license. A current Medical Assistant certificate could be considered. Ap plicants will be working with children Pre K-4, and ECSE. The Warsaw R-IX School District operates under a 4-day week schedule.

School Nurse job duties and responsibilities may include:

• Conducting student hearing and vision screenings
• Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions
• Verifying vaccination records
• Taking students’ temperatures when fever is suspected
• Administering first aid and CPR
• Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and bruises
• Contacting parents when students are ill or injured
• Other duties as required
