Role:
The Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) in the Regional Float Pool provides individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the East Region. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on nursing standards, utilizing theoretical knowledge in practice.
Responsibilities:Floats between designated hospitals, working in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more. They build clinical assessment and communication skills, collaborate with various teams, and adapt to different patient populations.
Qualifications & Skills- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one year recent bedside LPN experience; two years for specialty units
- Certifications:
BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification as applicable - Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, float across units, and serve multiple facilities including hospitals in the region. The role offers opportunities for skill development, flexible work environment, and exposure to diverse clinical settings.
