Position Overview
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed healthcare professional. Ensures professional accountability for assigned patients, coordinating care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Responsibilities Include- Applying nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and safeguarding patient information.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education and successful licensure.
- Current LPN license, compliant with state Board of Nursing requirements.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
- LPN-IV certification completed prior to or within three months of hire for applicable states.
Strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols essential for delivering compassionate patient care in a collaborative environment.
