Clinical Nurse - Operating Room and Outpatient Surgery Center

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in an outpatient surgery center, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role involves working in a newly opening facility with OR and GI procedure rooms, performing surgical and endoscopic procedures, and promoting a patient- and family-centered environment.

• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Educates patients and families on managing their conditions, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN licensure required; no prior experience necessary, but two years of experience is preferred.
• OR experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently in a safety-sensitive environment, with no call, holidays, or weekend shifts.
