Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU, ER & OB
Location:
Various Locations Across California
Job Type:Travel/Contract
Shift:Days / Nights / Rotating Shifts
Schedule:3×12-hour or 4x12 shifts
Position OverviewAmbe Healthcare Staffing is hiring experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) for contract opportunities across California in ICU, Emergency Room (ER), and Obstetrics (OB) departments.
- ICU / Critical Care RN
- Emergency Room (ER) RN
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care according to established nursing standards.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Accurately document patient care using the facility's EMR system.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent specialty experience
, depending on assignment. - Current BLS certification required.
- ICU/ER positions may require ACLS
; additional specialty certifications may be required based on the facility. - Recent acute-care hospital experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Must be flexible with shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
