Optum Care, the largest network of medical groups in the nation, is seeking a Per Diem Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our care team. At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing dedicated health care delivery locally.

Optum Onsites delivers employer-based primary care that focuses on whole-person health, not occupational health services. This role is based in Fenton, MO supporting our care team by covering absences such as PTO, planned time off, and sick time. This is a great fit for a confident, independent NP or PA who enjoys variety and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Clinic location: 1670 Fenpark Dr., Fenton

• Deliver high quality Primary Care including:
  • Wellness and Preventative Physical Exams
  • Acute care of minor illness and injuries
  • Chronic Disease Management and Longitudinal care
  • Minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)
  • Lifestyle and well-being counseling
  • Medical management of behavioral health conditions

• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Missouri
• Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• 2+ years of clinical experience as a FNP / PA in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, ambulatory, emergency and/or urgent care setting(s)
• Experience using computers for professional communication
• Experience using Electronic Health Record systems for medical documentation
• Experience seeing patients of all ages, including children and adolescents

• Experience using Athena EMR for medical documentation
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a clinical setting

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $53.00 - $79.00 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
