Health Care Recruiters International (HCRI) is hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist, CNS to support NICU and Pediatrics at a well-respected acute care facility on California’s Central Coast
. This full-time role is based in a region known for its natural beauty, just a short drive from Monterey, Santa Cruz, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Big Sur. A great opportunity for a CNS looking for stability, strong benefits, and coastal living.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Provide advanced nursing care to NICU and pediatric patients

• Coach and support nursing staff on both units

• Lead trainings, in-services, and clinical education

• Consult on patient care and complex clinical cases

• Help shape protocols and performance improvement initiatives

• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary meetings

• Support integration of evidence-based practices and current research

• Master’s in Nursing with CNS certification (or eligible)

• Current California RN license (or ability to obtain)

• 2+ years of NICU or pediatric clinical experience

• Confident educator and collaborative communicator

• Able to pass pre-employment physical and DOJ background check

• Willing to cover occasional weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts

• $85.41–$116.59/hr (DEO & Schedule)

• $177,655 - $200,000 ++ Annual
