Location: Bridgeton
The City of Saint Charles Parks and Recreation Department is recruiting for a seasonal/part‑time Parks Equipment Technician. The position is part‑time and is not scheduled to work more than 1,499 hours per year.
Responsibilities- Serve as part‑time support for the Parks Mechanic.
- Provide light services to park vehicles and equipment, including pickup trucks, law‑enforcement vehicles, diesel and propane mowers, two‑cycle engines, motorcycles and trash trucks.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and assist the Parks Mechanic with ongoing repairs and needed maintenance to keep equipment functioning and safe.
- Must be able to obtain a valid driver’s license by the date of hire.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to work flexible hours as a temporary seasonal or part‑time role.
