Central Stone Company is hiring a full-time Grounds Maintenance & Equipment Operator to maintain company owned property throughout the St. Louis metro area. Primary responsibility includes operating field‑type tractor with bush hog mower, skid steer mulcher, Fecon forestry mulcher, weed eater, chainsaw, and weed sprayer. Secondary duties include filling in as an equipment operator and/or performing maintenance at a Central Stone Company quarry.

This is a Monday through Friday position, first shift hours, with an expectation of strong attendance and work ethic. This position will be based out of Central Stone Company’s House Springs Quarry located in House Springs, MO.

Grounds Maintenance & Equipment Operator major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operate field‑type tractor and attached or towed rough mower.
• Operate skid loader with mulching attachment.
• Perform weed eating, chainsaw work, weed spraying to maintain property appearance.
• Conduct daily inspections and performing routine maintenance
• General maintenance of equipment, buildings, and/or properties.
• Ability to work in all-weather climates

The ideal Grounds Maintenance & Equipment Operator candidate will have:

• Valid and current driver’s license
• Commitment to safety
• Experience with agricultural equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude to diagnosis and fix equipment
• Must be at least 18 years old
