This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking for balance and longevity in their career. With a three-day work week, predictable hours, and weekends closed, this role is designed to support real work-life balance while still offering engaging, fulfilling medicine. There is flexibility to support the team with vacation coverage when needed, without compromising personal time.

You’ll practice small animal medicine alongside a collaborative team in a calm, well-organized environment. The schedule is approximately 30 hours per week across three days, typically Wednesday through Friday. The clinic is closed on weekends, allowing for uninterrupted time away from work.

• Experienced in general small animal medicine
• Confident performing routine soft-tissue surgery
• Experienced in dentistry or genuinely open to learning and expanding dental skills
• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and teammates
• Works well in a collaborative, team-focused environment
• Values efficiency, consistency, and quality medicine
• Willing to provide occasional flexibility to help cover vacations

• Examine, diagnose, and treat small animal patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Perform soft-tissue surgical procedures and dental treatments
• Interpret diagnostic results including lab work and imaging
• Prescribe medications and recommend preventative care
• Educate clients on treatment options and long-term care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Practice medicine in accordance with veterinary ethics and regulations

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution
• Appropriate state licensure
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD
• Vet will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
