POSITION SUMMARY
A Range Attendant maintains a golf driving range by collecting, cleaning, and restocking golf balls; cleaning equipment; assisting golfers with carts and inquiries; ensuring the area is tidy; and performing minor maintenance, all while delivering excellent customer service in a professional manner, often outdoors in varying weather.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Ensure the range is set up properly each day by verifying the correct number of stands and their placements on the range, while aligning them correctly and keeping them fully stocked.
- Ensure the golf lesson area is set up properly each day and check it throughout the day to make sure it has what is required for scheduled lessons.
- Pick and wash golf balls throughout the day to maintain a continuous stock for the range.
- Hand pick sand traps and all surrounding areas of the range daily, as play allows.
- Move the range to fresh grass throughout the day, as necessary, to give our guests the best experience and to spread the wear and tear of the range evenly.
- Clean pick the range on scheduled days and maintain placement of range furniture so that it does not interfere with the grounds team’s mowing/servicing of the range.
- Inspect, service and maintain all range equipment daily.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
- Minimum Degree
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent - Valid driver's license is required
- Ability to lift heavy objects, typically 40–75 lbs. (e.g., large baskets of golf balls), and stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain
- Professionalism and a "guest-first" mindset for interacting with resort guests and the public
- Knowledge of golf course etiquette and focus on safety to avoid being struck by balls while on the range and to operate machinery safely.
