Location: California

Humphrey & Giacopuzzi Veterinary Group, Inc. (HGAE) is seeking a board-certified equine surgeon or eligible veterinarian to join our established Southern California equine hospital.

HGAE has served Ventura County and the surrounding equine community for more than 35 years. Our caseload is approximately 90% equine and 10% farm animal, including performance horses, breeding animals, and backyard companions.

The surgeon will perform elective and emergency procedures, manage hospitalized surgical patients, collaborate with our internal medicine and ambulatory teams, and help expand our surgical service.

Compensation:

$,000 base salary
$10,000 sign-on bonus
$15,000 bonus after successful completion of 90 days
Production-based compensation opportunities

  • DVM degree
  • ACVS board certification in large animal surgery or equivalent
