Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Groundskeeper, Landscaping, Golf Club / Golf Industry
Groundskeepers, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment. Experience not needed. 40 hours a week plus time and half for overtime. This is a seasonal position. Some part time positions are available as well.
General
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 4:00am to 12:30pm. Friday 4:00am to 8:00am. Saturday or Sunday 3:30am to 7:30am.
Limited golf privileges and driving range use. Uniforms included.
Pay based on experience: $18.00-$19.50/Hour
Qualifications- Knowledge of methods and materials used in grounds and landscape area construction/maintenance work.
- Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
- Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
- Physical strength, stamina and agility.
- Available to work one weekend morning each week during the season.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Available for early morning shifts.
- Reliable personal transportation required.

The course has a gently undulating terrain and holes that flow seamlessly from one to the next.
Standout holes include the beautifully bunkered par-5 18th and the par 3's on the back nine strategically guarded by water.
Ravenwood has hosted the 2003 and 2009 New York State Golf Championships, as well as the 2004 U.S. Open Qualifier.
