Job DescriptionTechnician I's are responsible for performing core aeration or aeration and over seeding services to improve lawn health and promote growth. This entry-level role requires basic lawn care knowledge, the ability to operate aeration equipment, and a strong commitment to delivering quality service.
Education- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- No experience required.
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or chemical application is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage assigned routes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to complete company-provided training, including safety and chemical application protocols.
- Perform core aeration or aeration and over seeding services on residential and commercial lawns as assigned.
- Safely operate and maintain aerators, spreaders, and other lawn care equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Assist in preparing lawns for services, including clearing debris and identifying obstacles.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain services performed and answer basic questions.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment usage, and site conditions.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Support team members as needed to ensure efficient completion of daily schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs for each property serviced, including products used and observations of lawn conditions.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and loading/unloading of equipment and materials.
Pay: $20.00
