JOB SUMMARY:

Monitor pre-harvest and harvest for quality and quantity in a timely manner. Estimate the crop yields and assisting with harvest sequence.
* Compensation - $19.00 - $20.00*. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.##

Job Description
* Maintain a valid Driver’s License in good standing in order to operate a company vehicle.
* Assist in Fruit Evaluation Management team duties
* Monitor crop volumes and fruit sizing across various ranches.
* Track trees for in-field fruit cataloging of characteristics and growth.
* Assist in the harvest sequence and direction of harvest crews.
* Learn fruit sampling techniques for fruit grading and maturity analysis.
* Assist in data entry and management of scientific resources
* Training and supervision of seasonal workers.
* Frequent travel to and from fields will be necessary (vehicle and fuel will be provided).## Qualifications
* Familiarity with state specific food safety laws.
* Ability to see the “big picture” business perspective, but is willing to “roll up their sleeves” and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and assistance to all levels of employees.

* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

** Fruit Evaluation experience, with a specific emphasis in agriculture preferably within a production/manufacturing setting. Supplementary training and/or designations related to the quality assurance or food safety field, or equivalent education and experience, is desirable.
